RPh on the Go, a national pharmacy staffing firm, is looking for candidates for a Director of Pharmacy position in central Wyoming. We are working with a hospital system ! consisting of 2 hospital and they are looking for a Director to manage both hospitals. The Director will be doing mostly administrative work but will also need to help with staffing duties with needed at both hospitals. The hospital system is willing to bring a Director on a temporary basis to make sure it is a fit for them but they would prefer permanent candidates.
The ideal candidate for this position will be a Pharmacist with strong hospital in-patient experience of 5-7 years and about 3-5 years of experience as a director or in a management role in a hospital in-patient pharmacy setting. The duties will be managing the day to day operations of both hospitals. This will include making sure all employees are working in accordance to the policies of the hospital, maintaining budgets and formulary and making recommendations regarding those when needed. This pharmacist will have very strong communication skills.
