Description: Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center is employing Pharmacy Tech 1 PRN right now, this position will be placed in Idaho. The technician I position requires interrelation/communication with pharmacists, pharmacy supportive personnel, nurses, physicians, volunteers, medical students, parents, visitors! , patient’s families, hospital personnel in committees, respiratory therapists, dietitians, and sales representatives.
Sound professional judgment consistent with clinical/academic background and the hospital’s requirements is essential.
Qualifications
Skills needed for the job include typing, basic arithmetic, able to use electronic mail (e.g., Meditech, Microsoft Outlook), accurate preparation of various medication, IV admixtures preparation. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility with people and ideas. Able to prioritize, negotiation, handle and implement stress management, and demonstrate good communication skills.
Education and licensing: Idaho licensing/registration, if applicable.
Age: 18 years of age or older.
Experience: Two years experience preferred, but not required.
