treatment facility that provides a full range of inpatient behavioral
health and substance use disorder recovery services for adults,
adolescents and seniors. The hosp! ital has been a healthcare provider
in the Boise area since 1980. Intermountain is licensed by the State
of Idaho, accredited by The Joint Commission, and TRICARE certified
and contracted. We enjoy membership in the Idaho Hospital Association
and the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers.
The Pharmacist, in the absence of an on-staff pharmacist, is
responsible for the efficient operation of the pharmacy, within all
legal and accreditation/certification requirements and applicable
facility policies, procedures, codes and standards. This includes providing
consultation with and direction to administrative, pharmaceutical and
professional functions relating to pharmaceutical care provided at
the facility.
Requirements
Education:
Graduate of an accredited
College
of Pharmacy is
required. A Graduate
degree in clinical pharmacy, an accredited Doctor of Pharmacy degree,
minimum of two (2) years hospital pharmaceutical experience is
preferred; must possess the experience to oversee the provision of
medication requirements for the patient populations treated in the
facility, including a knowledge of dosage for age-specific
populations.
Licensure:
Currently licensed as a Pharmacist and Controlled
Substance in Idaho.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
