Pharmacist
Location: Portneuf, Idaho
Description: Portneuf Medical Center is at the momment seeking for Pharmacist right now, this position will be ordered in Idaho. Dispenses medications pursuant to orders to inpatients and outpatients of the center to effectively meet their medication needs. Reviews prescriptions issued by authorized prescribers to assure accuracy and deter! mine formulas and ingredients needed. Supervises the care provided by licensed and unlicensed personnel, in accordance with the current Idaho Pharmacy Practice Act. Maintain established procedures concerning security of controlled substances, and disposal of hazardous waste drugs. Communicates all relevant information effectively and clearly to appropriate persons.
Requirements
Must hold or obtain current licensure as an RPh in the State of Idaho and possess a controlled substance license. Must hold or obtain current BLS. Writing/editing skills necessary to produce appropriate documentation and communications. Judgment, tact, and diplomacy to effectively resolve conflicts. Analytical skills required to review quantitative data, apply logic and reason, and draw appropriate conclusions and findings. Continuously able to concentrate on fine detail with constant interruption and continuously able to attend to task/function for an extended period of time. Criti! cal thinking skills that will allow the pharmacist to assess a! nd implement appropriate interventions in a leadership role. Ability to learn computer programs and input data is required. Must know or learn and maintain aseptic technique skills in both horizontal and vertical laminar-flow hoods.
