Assist in the provision of pharmaceutical care to various customers under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. Practice within the sco! pe of state and federal regulations.
Registered with the Idaho State Board of Pharmacy as a Technician is required. Completion of an approved Pharmacy Technician Training Course is required, college level certificate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred. All technicians newly employed by Saint Alphonsus as of July 2009 are required by the State Board to be Nationally Certified or registered as a Technician in Training. Excellent communication skills. Ability to create and foster a cooperative team work environment. Can readily adapt to institutional roles and schedules.Basic computer skills. One (1) year experience as a pharmacy tech preferred. Material resources and/or management skills preferred.
