HIM Manager:
The HIM Manager provides leadership in the design, implementation, evaluation and ongoing management of the Elks Rehab System's Health Information Management (HIM) program, processes, policies and procedures in coordination with applicable members of the organization. The Manager compiles, processes, and maintains all health information records of all patients served by the ERS in a manner consistent with medical, administrative, ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements that apply to ERS. Processes, maintains, compiles, and reports patient information for health requirements and standards. Manage transition to ICD-10 and all projects related to HIM for ERS. The Manager facilitates process improvement in coding and release of information processes throughout all business units.

Audiologist:
Provides diagnostic and rehab! ilitative pediatric audiology services to patients and their f! amilies; represents ERS audiology department, as designated, in a variety of placements and settings including professional concerns, public awareness, and marketing.

Infection Control Manager:
The Infection Control Manager is responsible for a comprehensive System-wide health care infection control and prevention program for the Elks Rehab System, including all of its business units. Manager must maintain, develop and implement infection control policies designed to reduce or eliminate health care acquired infections and outbreaks throughout the Elks Rehab System as well as monitors patient care for compliance with various federal and state laws and regulations that govern the System and its business units. Investigates known or suspected sources of infections in order to determine the source and ensure control and develop presentations of educational programs relevant to infection control to ensure the well-being and safety of employees, patients, phys! icians and visitors.

RN:
The Registered Nurse ensures nursing interventions to optimize patient outcomes through the development of an individualized patient care plan. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care and patient/family education provided to assigned patients on their shift. He/she collaborates with ERH staff to coordinate medical, ancillary, and other patient care services to maintain standards of safe, appropriate, high quality, and cost effective care given to patients in the clinical setting. The Charge Nurse is responsible for providing leadership/guidance to the nursing staff to provide high standards of patient care. The Team Leader actively leads the nursing care team through direct patient care delivery.

CNA:
A Certified Nurse's Aide (CNA) delivers basic patient care by providing assistance in areas of admission, housekeeping, nutrition, patient hygiene, safety and protection, as delegated by a license! d nurse, in accordance with established policy, procedures, and protoco! l.

Pharmacy Tech:
The Pharmacy Technician II assists the Director in the management of pharmaceutical contracts and inventory (which includes return of goods, outdated drugs, new drugs, and packaging systems), monitors accuracy of invoices and stocks office supplies. A Pharmacy Technician II also assists pharmacists in the preparation, packaging, and distribution of drugs, drug supplies and related paperwork in accordance with federal and Idaho Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations.

HIM Manager:

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management (HIM) or a related healthcare information technology field.
  • Current Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) certificate or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) certificate.
  • Demonstrated work experience with five years in HIM, at least two of which were in a management/leadership role.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills, significant! decision making abilities, and effective conflict resolution skills in day-to-day management activities working with a diverse range of employees and achieving positive, productive working relationships.
  • Demonstrated work experience in the development and implementation of systems for program effectiveness, departmental productivity, and technological improvements.
  • Strong familiarity with HIPAA.
Audiologist:
  • Au.D. or Ph.D. in Audiology, Master's will be considered.
  • Two plus years of experience in working with children diagnostics and/or hearing aids.
  • Thorough knowledge and practical experience with Visual Reinforcement Audiometry.
  • Thorough knowledge and practical experience with Conditioned Play Audiometry.
  • Thorough knowledge and practical experience with administration and interpretation of Auditory Brainstem (ABR) and Ocoacoustic (OAE's) evaluations in a pediatric population.
  • Li! censed or immediately eligible to be licensed as an audiologist in the ! state of Idaho/Oregon, as indicated.
  • Ability to operate all audiological equipment (ABR, OAE, Real Ear, Tympanometer, etc.).
  • Extensive knowledge of sales, dispensing, fitting, modification, and repair of hearing instruments and ear molds, especially to a pediatric population.
  • Advanced practical skills and theoretical knowledge of pediatric hearing diagnostics and management of hearing loss.
  • Awareness and understanding of criteria and candidacy of implantable devices: cochlear implant and BAHA.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Excellent interpersonal and public communication skills.
  • Computer literacy in a Windows environment.
Infection Control Manager:
  • Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing or Master's degree in a clinical healthcare related field such as public health/epidemiology (preferred).
  • At least three to five years of experience in infection prevention and control.
  • Demonstrated group/team leadership and facilitation skills, data collection, analysis, reporting, and presentation.
  • Certification in Infection Control (CIC) or eligible to become certified within two (2) years of employment.
  • Working knowledge of Windows-based software applications.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
RN:
  • Current Idaho RN license.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Team Leader (in addition to those listed above).
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask with good organizational skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
CNA:
  • Completion of a CNA training program and current certification.
  • No reportable offenses on any state licensing board registry for a period of seven years.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Ability to follow directions and handle multiple tasks.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain patient privacy.
Pharmacy Tech! :
  • High school diploma.
  • Current registration with the Idaho Board of Pharmacy as a certified pharmacy technician.
  • Basic computer software skills including the ability to type 35 wpm.
  • Understanding of medical terminology.
  • Basic business management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in a service related field.
  • Current CPR credentials.
  • Ability to maintain patient privacy.
