About the Role
Reporting to the Production Manager, the key purpose of this role is to complete all unloading of premixes and bag additives as required to the Ridley receival standard including sampling of product and batch controlling. You will ensure the yard is cleaned regularly as per cleaning register and support milling staff with cleaning of plant and vehicles and storing products safely as per Ridley storage procedure.
The key responsibilities for this position include:
- Isolate and report any known non-conformances.
- Ensure all required paperwork and sign off sheets are completed in a timely manner.
- Bagging of finished product as required by Production Controller or site manager.
- Store - Identify and store all materials in allocated areas of the store, record all details.
- In conjunction with site cleaner ensure weighbridge area and office area are cleaned and documented on weekly cleaner and yard register.
- Control and document all drain cleaning and yard wash downs, etc on site cleaning register.
- Complete weekly stock take activities as directed by site manager or production manager.
- Relieve milling staff as required.
- Part of mill cleaning program, clean premix pots as required. Participate in all cleaning activities as required.
To be considered for the role you will have:
- 5+ years' experience in a manufacturing production plant
- Forklift licence
- Sound knowledge of OH&S and Environmental Policies and Legislation.
- Strong verbal, negotiation and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Sound computing skills. Able to work in Office and Microsoft AX programs.
