This opportunity reports to the Senior Director in charge of the Program and has responsibility for both people and shaping programme solutions. This role also acts as a liaison between the programme and business stakeholders to ensure that business requirements are effectively translated into solutions, and the benefits are understood and realised.
The e2e Cash Programme is currently in-flight and it will transform our existing technology and process landscape to deliver benefits to AstraZeneca and prepare for a transition onto S4HANA. The treasury management system is Quantum, and the objective is to upgrade the existing systems and approach from a combination of SAP PI, SWIFT, host to host connections and other portals to a model utilising FIS ERP Connector and FIS Payment Hub.
Responsibilities
Building and leading project teams, ensuring effective communication of roles and responsibilities whilst encouraging teamwork and collaboration amongst the team and business stakeholders.
Managing relationships with key business stakeholders and ensuring that business requirements are effectively captured, and the impact of project/programmes are understood by the business.
Resolve complex quality and compliance risks issues and ensure that the team adopts quality assurance policies and procedures.
Creating and executing project plans and dependencies.
Revising project plans as appropriate to meet any changing needs and requirements to ensure that deliverables are met effectively and efficiently.
Setting, creating, and driving project governance; and making sure that clear agendas and objectives are set.
Providing status reports on behalf of the project at all levels required.
Managing project benefits, budget and actual spend; escalating changes and risks/issues.
Manage the initiation and maintenance of supplier contracts.
Identify resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
Review deliverables prepared by team and providing sign-off prior to engaging business stakeholders.
Undertaking engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
Developing transition plans into business areas and ensuring controlled handovers to users and business-as-usual processes.
Essential Criteria
Significant experience of successfully delivering complex global projects within large corporate environments
Prior experience of working on similar treasury / banking initiatives involving SAP (ECC and S4HANA), FIS (Quantum, ERP Connector and Payment Hub).
Strong collaboration, communication and stakeholder management skills
Task orientated with high agility and good time management.
Able to deal with high workload and competing priorities.
Able to work independently and as part of a diverse global team.
Able to demonstrate alignment to AstraZeneca’s values.
Desirable Criteria
Formal project management qualification
Qualified accountant and / or Association of Corporate Treasurers
