VIDEOJET TECHNOLOGIES is a global leader in Product Identification providing innovative coding and marking solutions that helps customers ensure product safety and improve their productivity.

Within your team

You will help customers to grow, with access to some of the most experienced marking and coding industry experts. After training and a tailored learning programme when you join, you will sell a range of Videojet coding and marking equipment to customers in the consumer-packaged goods, pharmaceutical, medical device, and industrial goods industries.

This job is a unique opportunity to:

Introduce customers to the latest Videojet technology and listen to their needs, helping them improve their productivity, protect and grow their brands, and stay ahead of industry trends and regulations.

Within your role, you will:

  • Win new customers by building strong relationships to key decision makers at prospect customers in your territory

  • Demonstrate the unique attributes of Videojet’s solutions in on-site customer meetings through demos of our products

  • Identify the needs of new customers and be flexible to find the most suitable Videojet solution that meets the customers’ needs

  • Provide basic first line customer assistance as needed; partner with the extended Videojet team to serve customers throughout their product life cycle

  • Innovate on new approaches to daily work, shaping the future of your role

We are looking for a professional who is:

  • Ideally experienced in any of the following areas:

    • as a lead generator for a commercial organisation

    • support role in a customer support team

    • or completed a commercial apprentice programme

  • Self-motivated – High-energy individual who is determined to succeed

  • Eager to learn – Willing and capable of becoming an expert on Videojet’s industry-leading technology

  • Charismatic - Comfortable working with a wide variety of key customer decision makers (operations managers and technical managers)

  • Collaborative – Savvy individual who is great at building relationships with customers and the internal Videojet team

  • Customer-Oriented – Able to build trust through customer focus and strong work ethic

  • Ambitious – Interested in a longer term career at Videojet that starts as a “Account Manager – New Accounts” but has numerous growth paths within the business

  • Technical Aptitude – Able to understand the basic functionality of the technology in order to setup/install a unit for customer production and perform basic customer assistance and troubleshooting

Your experience will include:

  • Success in sales or ability to establish customer relationships

  • Ability to prioritise and work on both long- & short-term projects

  • Excellent listening skills and ability to understand and interpret customer needs and handle their expectations

  • Knowledge of a CRM (preferably SFDC) would be advantageous

  • Fluency in Italian and English
